The Education sector has experienced, and overcome, its fair share of challenges. Today, across the region, it serves as an educational hub for nationals, residents, and a growing number of inbound international students.
The advances being made in the Education Sector are a result of Government initiatives being put in place to propel the sector to a global standard. This has piqued private sector interest and we are seeing more public private and international partnerships.

Reem Albudoor is a Legal Researcher in the Innovation & Patents practice in Dubai.
Reem supports in conducting research in relation to innovation, R&D and industrial property (3IP) in various new technical areas, such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, agricultural technology, and blockchain. She incorporates such research into various projects and legal advices. Reem reviews new and upcoming changes to legislation and case law in the region, and assists the team in applying information in regards to regulatory changes to legal advices, memorandums, and other advisory services.
Reem also assists the team in providing legal services for governmental institutions, higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and other private and public entities. She assists in preparing and reviewing agreements and legal advices, including but not limited to, technology transfer agreements, licensing agreements, R&D collaboration agreements, memorandums on R&D and innovation regulations in the region, conducting due diligences, and other agreements with innovation and industrial property considerations.
Additionally, Reem provides support to the Team Innovation CSR Program, which includes preparing memorandums of understanding and pro bono terms of business. She prepares presentations, materials, and research for webinars, seminars, and other events. She assists the team in advising and coaching start-ups and other entities on the protection of their innovations. She is involved in the complete timeline of client relations in the Team Innovation Program.
