We have 42 staff living and working in Qatar, including 29 lawyers, many of whom are multi-lingual.

Recent projects include:

• Acting as sole Qatari legal counsel to Jahez International Company on its acquisition of a 76.56% stake in Snoonu Corporation Holding, Qatar’s fastest-growing technology and on-demand delivery company.
• Acting for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association as its sole Qatar Financial Centre counsel, issuing a series of jurisdictional legal opinions.
• Acting on the establishment of a series of regulated financial institutions in the Qatar Financial Centre.
• Advising on multiple bonds and Sukuk issuance transactions for conventional and Islamic banks in Qatar.
• Acting for various financiers and aircraft lessors relating to the sale, purchase and novation of various aircraft on lease to regional airlines.
• Achieving a 100% success rate for our clients on each tax case we litigated in 2024.
• Advising on the merger between Masraf Al Rayan (Al Rayan) QPSC and Al Khalij Commercial Bank.
• Successfully defending our client Fincantieri S.p.A., one of the world’s leading shipbuilding and cruise ship design companies, in a court action filed by a local company claiming a commission and compensation in excess of Euro250 million.
• Advising Qatar Insurance Company on its innovative tier 2 capital bond issuance, as well as advising on a broad range of construction and other disputes.
