Biography
Issey Park is an Associate in the Arbitration Department based in Dubai. Issey is experienced in and advises clients on international commercial arbitration, investor-State dispute settlement, and private international law matters.
Issey is a solicitor in England and Wales and attorney-at-law in Korea. He holds a Master of Laws in private international law and Master of Advanced Studies in international dispute settlement.
Before returning to Al Tamimi & Company, Issey served with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). He also has experience in case administration from the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB).

- Representing the UAE subsidiary of a Korean electronics company in a DIFC-LCIA arbitration against a Ghanaian distributor
- Representing a UAE contractor in an ICC arbitration against a Bahraini subcontractor over a water transmission development project
- Representing a Dubai-based ride-hailing group in a DIAC arbitration against a former employee
- Advising an air transport ITC company in dispute with a GCC Member State over an eVISA/VIS project
- Advising a joint venture of Korean subcontractors in dispute with an Iraqi contractor over a refinery project
- Advising the UAE subsidiary of a global automation technology company in dispute with a Dubai-based conglomerate over a sulphur granulation plant project
