Biography
Fahad is a Kuwaiti national and bilingual associate within the Corporate department of our Kuwait office.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company in 2025, Fahad has worked at several leading law firms in Kuwait where he acquired an expertise in merger control filing, forensic legal investigation and civil litigation.
Fahad completed his bachelors’ degree in Accounting prior to obtaining his law degree, along with certifications in Management and Entrepreneurship.
Fahad obtained his certification as a compliance officer in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism in 2021.
Recent Experience
- Advised leading Kuwaiti corporations and international companies in preparing and executing share purchase agreements in coordination with auditing firms and brokers.
- Advised various local and international companies that conduct businesses in various markets and industries on Merger Control deals, obtaining Competition Protection Agency approvals and ensured capital market compliance.
- Conducted a forensic legal investigation of a listed company, resulting in filing for Disciplinary Board proceedings at the CMA against a key personnel involved in the embezzlement scheme.
- Advised in multi-million dollar ICC Dispute Review Board claims related to an oil refinery mega-project.
- Conducted a forensic review of a foreign fund, identifying fraudulent conduct and embezzlements, leading to the retrieval of $25,000,000.
- Provided legal advisory and consultation for a major Kuwaiti F&B company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia, including drafting franchise agreements.
- Provided legal advisory for a Murabaha Financing Agreement to a listed real estate investment company.
- Prepared comprehensive legal memoranda and appeared before the Court of Appeals to represent clients through oral arguments in various courts and circuits.
- Acted on behalf of the heirs in a high-value inheritance dispute and drafted settlement agreements to reach amicable resolutions.
