Find out moreAli Bachrouch joined the Litigation Department at Al Tamimi & Company on 1 July 2007; successively he worked on developing various practices in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Northern Emirates in general, and he is currently heading the Corporate Structuring – Northern Emirates, based from Sharjah.
He has for some twenty years been practiced in Business Law, IT, Environment, Healthcare, Energy, Contracting and Natural Resources, with particular focus on drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents and advising on corporate structuring issues with specialization in advising on the regulatory issues governing the business agreements and structuring of projects involving entities from public sector. He lead the work on various “top in the world” type of projects in Europe and the ME & Gulf, where he acted as a project manager of the government-supported research project at QUB-UK for building the TitaniQ Corpus, which considered the largest freely available spontaneous speech corpus of English conversations in the world (Data Science Journal). He also acted as the lead lawyer for advising on a large scale municipal projects including the advice on and drafting of agreements for Landfill Site Operation and Management for the operation and management of biggest Recycling Station in the Middle East and Gulf, and the third in the world, which has been implemented through a public (municipal)-private venture.
Ali is a multidisciplinary professional with DEA (First Level) in Business Law, from the Lebanese University 1999-2001, and Master of Science in Computer Science and Applications, from Queen’s University, Belfast UK, 2004-2005. Ali has lectured on Law and IT at various universities in the UK and Lebanon, and he published and presented in many conferences and seminars, with special focus on regulatory and technology topics. He is Registered Legal Consultant with Unrestricted membership status, at The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department since 2012, and Member of Association of Law Teachers UK, 2005.
