Ina is a USPTO registered patent attorney and also holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Sc.). Her particular focus is in the areas of life sciences, oil and gas, renewable energies and chemical/material sciences. Ina has prior experience as a Patent Examiner with the USPTO and assists clients in all aspects of patent procurement and protection, including patentability opinions, drafting and filing patent applications, patent prosecution and overall portfolio management.
Ina’s particular expertise include advising multinational companies on patent protection in the MENA region, and also assisting local and regional clients with patent procurement and protection in the U.S. and internationally. Ina’s most recent experience includes a secondment with the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee, as IP counsel, advising local companies and universities on patent procurement and IP portfolio management.
