Al Tamimi & Company’s TMT team shine at the top of the rankings in the recently announced Legal 500 EMEA 2018

Al Tamimi & Company is delighted to have been ranked Tier 1 for Technology, Media & Telecommunications in The Legal 500 EMEA 2018. We are proud to see TMT Partner, Nick O’Connell, retain his ‘Leading Individual’ title, and see our media lawyer superstar, Fiona Robertson, remain on the ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ list. Head of TMT, Stuart Davies, joined the team from Ooredoo Group in August 2017 to further strengthen the practice, which now boasts nine specialised industry lawyers across four offices.

The Middle East is undergoing a rapid transformation in the TMT space with continued growth in traditional areas of TMT as well as the growing recognition of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, such as AI, blockchain, smart contracts, digital identity and 5G.  With our lawyers working across all of these new aspects of TMT with some of the most innovative brands from across the globe, it has been a fascinating time for the team.  In addition to ongoing work in the sector, our team have continued to present their expertise at various conferences and events, have been interviewed by press and been involved in webinars, across the globe.
