Zainab Saad is an Association with over 3 years of experince the litigation departments in Baghdad. Zainab is also a member of the Iraqi Bar association.
Zainab frequently works on Iraqi litigation cases where foreign law has to be applied by Iraqi courts or arbitration is raised as a defense.
She has interest in international commercial arbitration. Prior to joining Al Tamimi Zainab worked on helping other law students to learn more about international commercial arbitration and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Iraq.
Zainab has extensive experience in acquisitions and restructuring of entities and she was involved in several governmental project for this purpose. In addition to extensive experience in commercial legal matters, reviewing contracts and advising clients on conducting business in Iraq.
Zainab is also a member of Al Tamimi Family law practice and WCC practice and often involved in matter of the practices.
Zainab represented the University of Al- Iraqia in the Willem-C Vis international commercial arbitration Moot for Two years. The VIS Moot is the largest and most prestigious moot court competition for law students and is used by the UNCITRAL to promote the New York Convention on Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitration Awards and the UN Convention on International Sale of Goods convention.
She also has experience in IP, insurance and recent experience involves advising on copyrights in Iraq, drafting settlement and assignment agreements,
