Biography

Seif is an Egyptian qualified lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, restructuring and employment matters. He regularly advises and assists clients in acquisition transactions, due diligence processes, drafting of acquisition related documentation including due diligence reports, share purchase agreements and shareholders agreements.

Prior to joining Al Tamimi, Seif worked at other reputable law firms in Cairo and Dubai where he was a member of their corporate structuring teams regularly advising clients on setting up of companies in Egypt and Dubai, obtaining the required licenses and permits, drafting and reviewing various agreements including employment, franchise, distributorship, shareholders and share purchase agreements and advising on company secretarial matters.

Seif also has experience in litigation which includes attending court hearings and expert meetings in relation to employment, civil and personal injury claims.

  • Advising Ikarus Petroleum Industries, a Kuwaiti energy investor, on the entry into a joint venture with Al Ahly Capital to invest USD 150 million in the Egyptian petrochemical sector.
