Biography
Pierre is a Senior Associate in Al Tamimi & Company’s Corporate team. His practice focuses on general corporate matters and advisory work.
Prior to joining the firm, Pierre worked as a corporate associate in South Africa where he advised and litigated on behalf various entities, local startups, and franchisees.
Pierre has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on corporate agreements, including joint venture agreements, memoranda of incorporation, shareholders’ agreements, service level agreements, franchise agreements and leases. Pierre also has experience in employment law, data protection and medical device regulatory matters in Qatar and the Qatar Financial Centre.
Recent Experience
- Part of the team advising a prominent international luxury brand in respect of the termination of a distribution agreement in Qatar.
- Advising a multinational company in respect of the regulatory requirements of a potential roll-out of their software application (“App”) in Qatar.
- Part of the team advising a governmental authority on proposed changes to relevant Qatar legislation.
