Biography
Pallavi has about 10 years of transactional and advisory experience working on a broad range of non-contentious corporate and commercial matters across various sectors.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi she was working for about 10 years as a Counsel with AZB & Partners, Mumbai, one of the premier law firms in India.
Pallavi’s particular strength is her ability to negotiate and draft transactional agreements and providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, particularly in connection with foreign investment into India. Pallavi has worked with a wide range of listed and unlisted international clients as far as transactional work is concerned.
Recent Experience
- Accenture Inc., a global professional services company, on acquisition of Bridgei2i (India) adding 800 employees to Accenture’s applied intelligence.
- TATA Consultancy Services, multinational information technology services and consulting company, on strategic offshore joint ventures, such as with Mitsubishi (in Japan), General Electric (in Saudi Arabia) and General Motors (in India); and on strategic offshore acquisitions such as W12 Studios (London) and Bridgepoint (USA).
- Canadian Pension Fund (CPPIB) in the USD 391 mn aggregate investment (in 2018 and 2019) in ReNew Power Ventures Limited.
- Lake Shore (ADIA backed), Invanhoe Cambridge Investments (Canada) with setting up of joint venture investment platforms, in the form of alternate investment funds (AIFs) in India.
