Odai joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2013 and has been an associate in the Corporate Tam since 2014. Since joining Al Tamimi & Company Odai has advised on UAE corporate laws and regulations including regulatory strategies and compliance and counselled clients on companies’ formation, restructuring and closing down for different types of entities including limited liability companies branches of foreign and local companies, free zone entities, and offshore companies specifically in the Northern Emirates.

Recent Experience

• a major investment group in the natural resources field in Ras Al Khaimah on restructuring options, and assist in the implementation, including creating the holding company and the transfer of assets, and the preparation for taking decisions at GM meeting and obtaining the approvals from SCA and relevant authorities in this regard.
• a leading investment group based in DIFC on the corporate structure and the acquisition of a factory in Ajman and introduce a new legal interpretation pertaining the ownership of the one-person company to allow 100% ownership by a free zone entity.
• lenders in major Fujairah Independent Power Project with focus on the legal framework in relation to the project company and the provision of guarantees and the execution of procedures with the authorities.
• client who is a major shareholder in a water desalination project in Umm Al Quwain, and assist with the whole process of creating the project company and obtaining the various approvals from the concerned authorities and departments, including the advice on the legal framework and the exemptions due to the participation of a governmental entity in the project.
• Al Zahra hospital: working on the sale of the Al Zahra Hospital Group in Sharjah for USD 572m.
