Biography

Nour is an Associate at Al Tamimi & Company’s Banking & Finance team. Nour has completed her LLM master’s degree at the University of Law during her first year working at the firm. She studied diversified fields in law, such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain and International Arbitration. Before receiving her internship offer at Al-Tamimi & Company in the Dispute Resolution department, Nour interned at the Institute of Diplomatic Studies under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Selected amongst hundreds of candidates, Nour attended workshops with respected ministers and ambassadors on esteemed topics such as foreign policy, international relations, and international law. Outstandingly, Nour was able to successfully complete her undergraduate degrees with high honors in Law from Cairo University – English Section – and Political Science, specializing in International Relations, double minoring in Economics and Global & Public Affairs from the American University in Cairo, in a period of four years.

Since joining the firm, Nour has gained experience across corporate commercial, intellectual property, litigation, and arbitral matters in a wide range of sectors.

Recent Experience

USAID, an independent agency of the United States federal government that is primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance, on the collaboration with Egyptian private sector in support of the Egyptian government on future projects focused on cultural heritage tourism.
Construction case, on the competence of an arbitral tribunal’s right to jurisdiction in a multi-jurisdictional arbitration agreement.
Advising Arab African International Bank (AAIB) on a tripartite MTL Agreement and security documentation.
Advising SYLNDR PTE Ltd in relation to a series seed equity financing and conversion of existing SAFE notes.
Assisted in the drafting of a joint-venture agreement for Tarek Nour family.
Advising the client on the sale of minority stake in the company
Assisted in the reviewing and drafting of commercial agreements and shareholders’ agreements.
Advising Nerhadou International for Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals S.A.E on the sale of minority stake in the company.
