Biography
Mai is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Dubai. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, banking, real estate and advisory work.
Mai trained and qualified at Al Tamimi & Company in Dubai (UAE). She has experience in handling lawsuits relating to Banking Islamic Finance, foreclosure cases, commercial and agency disputes. She has also experience in handling a range of employment disputes involving employment claims and contractual breaches.
Recent Experience
- Acting for court-appointed insolvency administrators appointed by the Munich Insolvency Court in a recovery claim worth of AED 154 million against eight UAE-based companies.
- Acting for an Islamic Finance bank in various litigation cases for the recovery of outstanding debts against banking facilities, before Dubai courts.
- Acting for a client in a commercial dispute in a claim worth of AED 11 million against a UAE-based company.
- Acting for a leading provider of telecommunication services in a claim worth of AED 4 million against a financial institution and others.
