Jincy is a post-graduate Electronics and Communications Engineer, and has over 6 years of experience in the field of innovation, R&D and industrial property (3IP), managing IP assets for clients, enabling them to create smarter patent portfolios.
Jincy assists clients in drafting Patent applications (PCT, Non-Provisional / Regular and Provisional patent applications), Utility models and preparing Industrial Design applications as well as in Prosecution of patent applications (analyzing Office actions and preparing responses to Office Actions), International Search Report (ISR) and Examination Reports (ER). She supports the patent prosecution for engineering and technical inventions worldwide primarily including, the GCC and MENA regions, US, Europe and China.
Jincy also helps with Prior art / Patentability search and Analytics – particularly in conducting Patentability Analysis for inventions and providing Patentability opinions. She also has particular expertise in Infringement analysis, and Invalidation searches. She assists clients in the private sector, governmental institutions, research universities (both foreign and local), in a wide range of IP and commercial-related matters, including advising on regional and international patent protection strategies, and advising on the patentability, freedom-to-operate and validity / possible infringement of inventions, and conducting due diligences.
Jincy also manages the filing of Patent applications (PCT, US, EP, China, India and GCC countries) and assists in drafting legal contracts / agreements for clients.
Jincy is experienced in various sectors including TMT, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Agriculture, Transportation, Financial Services, and Healthcare, just to name a few.
