Biography
Elyazia is an associate in the Banking and Finance department, having joined Al Tamimi under a training contract in 2022.
After two years of diverse experience as a trainee lawyer across various departments, Elyazia has enhanced her skills in banking, corporate structuring, legislative drafting, and dispute resolution. Her current responsibilities include drafting legal opinions, corporate authorizations, conducting due diligence, and preparing legal advice. Elyazia is a UAE-qualified lawyer with a practicing license in the UAE Federal First Instance and Appeal Courts.
Recent Experience
- Member of the UAE Counsel in respect of a Masdar project for establishment of a solar photovoltaic independent power plants and associated interconnection electrical facilities located in Uzbekistan.
- Incorporating an oil and gas fields equipment manufacturing company in the KEZAD Free Zone, Abu Dhabi.
- Assisting in the CP and CS stage, including the perfection of securities, in respect of a USD 35,000,000 term loan facility between a restaurant franchise in Dubai and various international financial institutions.
- Attended to the settlement and restructuring procedures, at the Dubai Courts, of AED 5 billion between an Abu Dhabi corporation and ADCB.
