Biography

Dana is a Canadian-qualified Associate in the Employment & Incentives practice. She regularly advises local and international clients on a wide range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters in the UAE, both onshore and within the various free‑zones, including the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Trained in both civil and common law systems, Dana effectively navigates the UAE’s different legal frameworks and delivers clear, commercially focused advice across its jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Al Tamimi, Dana worked at a premier global law firm in Montreal, where she provided strategic support to multinational and regional clients on all aspects of employment and labour law, from compliance and risk management to dispute resolution. She also clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada during the 2022–2023 judicial year, gaining in‑depth exposure to complex litigation and shaping her practical and strategic approach to employment disputes.
