Courtney is an Associate in the Digital & Data practice at Tamimi & Company, based in Dubai. She advises clients on a broad range of technology, data protection, and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on emerging technologies and data compliance frameworks.
Her practice includes advising on emerging and innovative technologies including Automated Vehicles and the Internet of Things (IoT), supporting clients in navigating the legal and regulatory challenges associated with rapidly evolving sectors. She also advises on data protection and privacy matters. Her experience includes drafting and advising on data protection compliance frameworks, drafting and negotiating technology-focused agreements, and preparing privacy policies, cookie policies, and risk assessments for digital platforms. In addition, Courtney has experience in media law, advising on legal and regulatory issues affecting digital content, platforms, and communications.
Courtney is a Solicitor of England & Wales, having qualified via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. She holds an LLB in Law and Criminology from the University of Sheffield.
