Biography
Raghda is an Associate in the Innovation & Patents and Intellectual Property practices in Egypt.
Raghda assists in managing and providing legal advisory opinions in respect of innovation, patents, and industrial property (3IP) portfolios in order to ensure the maximum protection for local and international clients including private and public entities, and individuals. She supports clients in legal protection of innovation, including patents, industrial designs and copyrights pertaining to technologies, products and innovations and has managed extensive 3IP portfolios.
Raghda supports clients in setting up intellectual property strategies. She also has experience in patent infringement cases, concluding amicable settlements, co-existence agreements, drafting complaints and initiating raids and boarder seizures.
Raghda is also member of the general intellectual property practice and manages trademark portfolios.
Raghda is also a member of the Arab Society for Intellectual Property. Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company, Raghda was an Intellectual Property and Corporate Junior in a local law firm and as an Associate and Senior Portfolio Manager at an international organization.

- Handled the assignments of multiple patent applications of an American based leading company specialized in fashion in multiple countries.
- Handled the registration of more than 500 patent and Design applications of multiple international companies in GCC countries.
- Handled the registration and renewal of the trademarks of a Mauritius based leading company specialized in food and beverages in multiple countries.
- Handled trademark infringement cases, drafting complaints and initiating raids and boarder seizures of an International leading company specialized in Sports in Egypt.
- Handled the registration of the trademarks of a Lebanese start-up specialized in fashion along with registering the copyright of their website and mobile application.
- Handled the registration and renewal of the trademarks and industrial designs of a leading Egyptian company responsible for the designing and sale of paintings and coatings.
- Handled the filing and responding to office actions of the patents of an Egyptian company specialized in providing intellectual property management and licensing services.
- Handled the registration and renewal of the trademarks of a leading Egyptian company specialized in food and beverages.
- Advised on a legal dispute concerning an infringement of the trademark of a well-known Restaurant in Egypt.
