Biography
Hakam is an associate in the Corporate Commercial department in Jordan.
Hakam’s experience in corporate law comprises advising on a multitude of merger and acquisition transactions, both private and public, as well as private equity transactions on a local and regional scale. He has advised clients on transactions across the MENA and GCC regions including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Federal Iraq, as well as coordinating transactions in offshore jurisdictions including Cayman Islands and the BVI.

- ZenHR Inc. on a recent USD 10,000,000 multi-tranche investment round by investors in the MENA and GCC regions.
- Al Arabi Investment Group Co. on their recent private equity investment in a major shipping company in Jordan.
- MenaITech on the acquisition of shares by third parties in an affiliate company incorporated in the Cayman Islands.
- Japan Energy Capital on its acquisition of 30% of the entire issued share capital in a Jordanian renewable energy company.
- Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) PJSC on the recent initial public offering and listing of its shares on the Abu Dhabi Exchange.
- Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai on the recent initial public offering and listing of its shares on the Dubai Financial Market.
- Advising a regional company group on its cross-border restructuring process including the conduct of due diligence investigations on target entities, advising on multijurisdictional foreign shareholding implications, and assisting on the restructuring of the group’s structure chart.
- Advising on a large-scale public private partnership in Jordan comprising the entry into and implementation of arrangements to construct 15 new schools in Jordan.
