Biography

Alaa has over 5 years of expertise in corporate and commercial law, and has gained valuable experience in numerous practice areas. He has developed skills in mergers and acquisitions, banking, construction, and litigation..

Alaa advises corporate, governmental and HNW clients in leading projects and transactions across the region on a wide range of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate structuring and in particular the establishment of DIFC foundations, governmental authority projects, M&A, family business succession planning, dispute resolution and corporate law.

He is a member of the firm’s Healthcare and Family Business & Private Wealth practice groups.

Alaa holds an LLM in Business Law and a bachelor’s degree in public law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He is fluent in Arabic, French, and English and is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and the Legal Affairs Department in Dubai.

  • Worked on projects implementing laws for the establishment of governmental authorities.
