Biography

Sabrina is a dispute resolution specialist with extensive cross-border experience. She represents private and sovereign clients in some of the most significant and high-profile international disputes. She has acted as counsel and advisor in dozens of arbitrations before major arbitral institutions, in several of the leading global arbitration hubs (including London and UAE). Sabrina is also an experienced litigator and has acted in English High Court, DIFC and ADGM court proceedings.

Sabrina acts for local and international clients, advising on local and international laws and procedures and representing them in court and arbitration proceedings.

Sabrina is dual-qualified in England & Wales and in Germany, allowing her to work across both civil and common law matters. She holds a Master of Business Administration from a leading German business school, enabling her to better understand the commercial needs of her clients.

  • Acted for two KSA companies in the Defense sector concerning commission and loan agreements with an international technology company (English High Court Litigation).
  • Acted for a KSA consultancy firm in a dispute resulting out of association agreements with a Spanish company for KSA based joint venture contracts in the fields of architecture, industrial engineering, civil engineering and consulting (KSA law, ICC Arbitration).
  • Acted for a finance company in the first contempt of court case before the ADGM Court
  • Advised an UAE conglomerate in relation to its dispute with an American supplier of electric meters (Dubai law, Dubai Courts, DIAC Arbitration).
  • Conducted an Internal Investigation relating to bribery allegations concerning a major oil & gas exploration agreement in West Africa.
  • Conducted an Internal Investigation under the CMA Saudi Arabia Laws and Regulations.
  • Advised a Japanese electrical and electronics manufacturer with respect to regulatory questions relating to the delivery and installation of electrical products at a KSA electrical plant.
  • Was part of the team acting for a State in arbitrations concerning issues arising under Production Sharing Agreements in the oil and gas sector in the Middle East (ICC Arbitration).
  • Acted for a leading Indian technology services company in a contractual dispute regarding the delivery of technology solutions for one of the biggest UK energy companies (English High Court Litigation).
  • Acted for a private aircraft hire company in relation to a portfolio of claims arising in relation to contracts for the hire of private aircraft and associated services, involving issues of breach of contract and force majeure (English High Court Litigation, LCIA Arbitration).
  • Acted for an offshore software company against a Chinese software giant in a US$230 million breach of contract dispute for non-delivery of mobile phone applications (LCIA Arbitration, London seat, English law).
  • Acted for a group of major American land and property developers, defending a US$53 million claim brought by one of the leading global litigation finance providers with respect to litigation funding in several US litigations (LCIA Arbitration, London seat, New York law).
  • Acted for an international oil company in a dispute relating to a block off the coast of Senegal and its farm-in rights under an oil exploration agreement (ICC Arbitration, London seat, English law).
  • Acted for a Canadian minor metals company in a dispute against Glencore AG arising out of the collapse of the Chinese Fanya Metal exchange (LCIA Arbitration, London seat, English law).
