Biography

Ola is an Associate who recently achieved her Master of Laws with Distinction, prior to which she worked and trained in international law firms, in Muscat and London. Ola is experienced in corporate and commercial transactions, including corporate governance and company structuring. She adopts a creative approach to ensure optimum solutions for all legal issues. Ola is also experienced in arbitration and has experience representing clients in both local and international disputes.

Advised on share acquisition of an oil and gas company valued over USD 20M
Advised on agency, distributorship and supply agreements for the expansion of businesses regionally and internationally
Advised on and reviewed agreements in various sectors, including media, oil and gas, power aviation, transport, construction etc.
Advised on human resources manuals, employment contracts, and disciplinary procedures of a well-established regional telecommunication company
Advised on aviation contracts for commercial airline company in Oman
Acted as co-counsel in a high profile arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Center, including representation, preparation of defense strategy, development of optimum procedural plan, examination and cross examination of witnesses, preparation of witness statements, etc.
Acted as co-counsel in an arbitration under Omani Arbitration laws involving a contractual dispute in relation to a pipeline project issued by two major oil & gas companies in Oman.
