Faizan has over 6 years of transactional and advisory experience on a broad range of banking and finance matters. He has particular expertise in advising on project finance, trade finance and Islamic finance transactions.
His repertoire also includes advising banks with respect to social loans, green loans, and sustainability- linked loans.
Faizan is a regular contributor to thought leadership and publications such as articles on (i) green, social, and sustainability-linked loans; (ii) sustainable finance and ESG developments in Bahrain; and (iii) security creation in Bahrain. He also assisted with developing the Financial Law Module of the Bahrain Professional Legal Practice Course (Bahrain LPC), a pilot programme developed by the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and the judicial and legal studies bodies in Bahrain, and delivered the Financial Law Module to the 2022-2023 Bahrain LPC programme.
