Biography
Angela has over 20 years’ experience advising on all aspects of commercial real estate and been a partner in UK based law firms renowned for their real estate practice. She has led teams and has particular expertise in landlord and tenant, development and real estate finance work providing strategic advice to her clients in the office, retail, leisure and logistics sectors. She works across the KSA and Dubai offices.
Angela has an in depth knowledge of leases with the ability to re-negotiate complex documentation for occupier clients. She has worked with a wide range of listed and unlisted clients on sale and purchase agreements, development agreements, agreement for leases, leases, option agreements, licence arrangements, certificates of title, legal charges and confidentiality agreements
Angela is a Legal 500 ranked lawyer and has been acknowledged for “anticipating problems and identifying solutions as they arise and getting the deal done quickly”. - US law firm (based in London): preparation and negotiation of certificates of title. red flag reports and raising enquiries on a range of real estate matters, including the refinance of a Grade 2 listed hotel for GBP50 million, purchase of two industrial units for GBP22million, corporate acquisition of a London based build to rent portfolio of properties for GBP20 million.
- Salik Company IPO: Assisting on real estate matters in relation to this historic public offering.
- Apollo: acting for Apollo Global Management in relation to the due diligence of real estate assets value USD 400 million investment with Aldar.
- Roshn Real Estate Company: advising on build to suit development project for leisure facilities in Riyadh.
- Gemini Global Development: Acting for this major developer on AED multi million development projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Red Sea Global: Acting for this client on their retail and food and beverage leases in KSA.
- Ithra Properties LLC: acting on their UAE multimillion development projects in Dubai, including residential and commercial premises.
- Nakheel PJSE: Acting on AED billion plus sale and purchase agreement for this client and on their iconic World Islands project.
- Dubai Investments PJSC: acting on a multi-million development project in Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah.
- Investment clients: acting for a landlord client on the grant of sub-leases of recently developed industrial units, acting for wealthy individuals on the purchase of residential plots and bare land for developments in Dubai, circa over AED 50 million.
