Saleh Al Obeidli, Senior Associate in firm’s newly launched Sports Law Practice has authored the UAE chapter of the book INTERNATIONAL AND COMPARATIVE SPORTS JUSTICE, published by the Sports Law and Policy Centre. The UAE chapter aims to provide an overview of sports justice in the United Arab Emirates as well as the UAE legal system. The chapter identifies the various sports bodies in the UAE, their function and the applicable regulations. Special focus on legislation specifically relating to the UAE Football Association and the National Olympic Committee is also provided.
