Wassim joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2018 in the Litigation department where he assists on a variety of litigation matters.
Wassim is very familiar with the Omani Laws and the Court procedures and has successfully dealt with different matters in the civil, commercial, criminal and administrative practice areas. He is eligible to draft and prepare legal notices, statement of claims, memorandums and defences. Additionally, he drafts criminal complaints and is familiar with the procedures of the Royal Oman Police and the Public Prosecution. Moreover, Wassim has built a strong relationship with different governmental bodies and judicial authorities in Oman.
Furthermore, Wassim has the ability to advise clients on a variety of disputes, including arbitration matters with respect to Oman jurisdiction.
He has also experience in dealing with Corporate Commercial practice through assisting the Corporate team in preparing due diligence reports and generating advices to clients.
His experience in intellectual property consists of preparing and registering trademarks and patents in Oman and drafting legal notices and oppositions related to infringement of intellectual property rights.
