Seif Oqal is an Associate in the Corporate Department – Mergers & Acquisitions in Jordan. He possesses experience in commercial matters and corporate transactions, having commenced his career by joining Al Tamimi & Company as a lawyer in the corporate department. Recent Experience

• Advising on a real estate developer on a landmark $1 billion investment in Jordan. We were responsible for drafting and negotiating the sale and lease agreements with the Greater Amman Municipality and advising the investor on all the necessary permits and approval pertaining to real-estate development in Jordan.
• Representing International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) as financers to the Government of Jordan on a PPP Project for the rehabilitation, expansion, finance, operations, maintenance, and implementation of tolls roads across Jordan.
• Represented EBRD as legal advisor to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”) and the Basil Institute of Governance in undertaking a comprehensive review and mapping of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation – Water Authority Jordan’s framework for auditing corporate governance, risk management, and compliance framework in Jordan.
• Advising a leading investment fund in Jordan, with a total investment exceeding 100 million Jordanian Dinars. We carried out thorough due diligence and provided strategic advice on multiple projects.
• Member of a specialized team in Jordan that handles digital privacy issues and matters relating to Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT). We provide legal counsel to corporations and institutions to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations concerning data protection and privacy.
