Mehreen is a European Patent Attorney specializing in providing tailored, high-quality intellectual property (IP) advice and services to clients across the MENA region.
With extensive experience in IP strategy development, she has worked across various sectors, managing multi-jurisdictional patent portfolios for large corporations while also supporting SMEs, universities, and start-ups in identifying and protecting their inventions. Her strategic approach ensures that her clients’ innovations are safeguarded, aligning IP protection with current commercial goals and long-term business growth.
Mehreen’s expertise covers drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications, as well as handling post-grant opposition and appeal proceedings before Patent Offices. She also advises on contentious IP matters, including due diligence, patent validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate assessments, as well as IP licensing and assignments.
Before joining the 3IP team in Dubai, Mehreen gained valuable experience in both private practice and in-house at a multinational FMCG company in the UK.
