Ibrahim has over 8 years’ experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and restructuring matters.
He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions with almost 10 years of experience in business and corporate legal counseling.
Ibrahim advises on corporate transactions with a focus on complex cross-border deals. His expertise includes the managing of all phases of M&A transactions, including structuring, due diligence, negotiation and drafting the transaction documents. He also advises various foreign and local clients on general corporate and commercial legal matters in Egypt including the setting-up of corporate entities in Egypt, corporate and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi, Ibrahim worked with Matouk Bassiouny (a leading law firm in Egypt) and Alta Semper Capital (a UK based private equity firm), where he was General Counsel in charge of M&A transactions for Africa.
Ibrahim has structured, negotiated and executed many M&As transactions using offshore vehicles in several jurisdictions including, Cayman, Mauritius, and the Netherlands.
