Biography

Gayane is a specialist in international arbitration and international litigation, with a background at leading “Silver Circle” and “Magic Circle” law firms in London, both ranked at the top of the GAR 30. Gayane’s experience includes complex cross-border disputes under major institutional rules, including ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, DIAC, and HKIAC, as well as sports law matters.

Gayane served as arbitrator and coached teams for premier moot competitions such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. As a participant herself, Gayane achieved historic results, becoming the first from a Russian team to:

  • win the Vis in Vienna (while also receiving an Honorable Mention Oralist award), and
  • win 1st Place for Combined Written Memorials at the Jessup in Washington, D.C.

Gayane speaks four languages and has had experience practicing law in 3 jurisdictions, including England, Russia and UAE.
