Biography
Carma is an Associate in the Banking & Finance team at Al Tamimi & Company in Qatar. She has been involved in advising on a range of banking and finance matters and focuses on corporate finance transactions and due diligence for M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company Qatar, Carma worked at Al Tamimi & Company Jordan, where she was involved in matters related to banking law as well as corporate and commercial law.
Recent Experience
- Advising a leading bank in Qatar on a finance lease facility to an engineering and contracting company in Qatar.
- Assisting on drafting finance and security documents for a commodity Murabaha financing transaction.
- Providing QFC law advice on facilities to fund the purchase of aircraft.
- Assisting a payment service provider on the acquisition of another payment provider, including due diligence exercise.
- Assisting a UAE bank with the issuance of corporate guarantees and legal opinions.
- Advising a foreign aircraft financier on the offering and marketing of aircraft finance lease to QFC entities on an offshore basis.
