Biography
Ali is a lawyer graduated from the University of Basra on 2009. He started as a lawyer in the Department of the Governmental Contracts/Basra Health Directorate then as a legal advisor with the investment companies providing legal opinions in connection with the residential projects and the Implementation of the investment law. After that, He joined Al Tamimi as an Associate in the litigation department based in Basra. He has the experience to deal and negotiate with ports and maritime authorities in Iraq regarding the client’s issues and he is a member of Media Committee of Basra Association Bar.

- Draft and review contracts of the tenders and negotiation with the companies (medical, constructions, supplies).
- Advice on the investment law and its Implementation for the residential projects.
- Represent clients in claims related to the contracts’ termination, outstanding debt.
- Real Estate lawsuits to return the properties for its original owners.
- Represent clients in labour law related to cancel the decisions of the employees’ termination, conflict issues, compensation and obtain their dues.
- Draft and review contracts of the Real Estate.
- Register Ships, issue the licenses for the maritime companies, inspection, and issue the formal documents for the workers in the maritime sector.
- Working on the Real Estate registration with the taxes and relevant directorates.
- Negotiation with the governmental departments regarding the imposed penalties.
