Read the full editionAl Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm in the Middle East, has confirmed the appointment of Scott Lambert as Regional Head of Construction and Infrastructure.
Scott will be responsible for building on the firm’s thriving Construction and Infrastructure practice and offering expert advice across the sector, at a time where construction and infrastructure projects are gaining real momentum across the region.
Scott has considerable experience as a Construction and Infrastructure lawyer and is a former Partner of Holding Redlich, a leading Australian law firm with one of the largest construction practices in Queensland. Scott has also been a Director of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia, a Member of the Queensland Law Society Law Construction Law Committee and Deputy Chair of the Law Council of Australian Construction and Infrastructure Law Committee.
Al Tamimi had a very strong 2014, with the firm growing to over 500 employees over the course of the year. Al Tamimi now has 50 partners, offices across all six GCC countries, and has also expanded its regional premises in Ras Al Khaimah, Erbil, Muscat and Manama. The firm’s Construction and Infrastructure practice is a regional leader, and recently acted for a major government owned developer regarding the design and construction of a complex multi-million dollar iconic business tower, which was awarded following a 2 stage early contractor involvement process.
