Sabrina is an English-qualified Associate specialising in employment law; she is also an Employment Representative within the Al Tamimi Healthcare Sector Group.
She advises foreign and local companies on all aspects of employment law in the UAE ranging from recruitment, drafting and advising on employment contracts, company policies and procedures, company restructures, end of service payments and employee entitlements under UAE Labour Law as well as employment-related immigration and visa advice in the UAE.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company, Sabrina worked as an Employment Solicitor in the UK. During this time, she advised multi-national corporations on both contentious and non-contentious matters and successfully defended a wide variety of claims at the Employment Tribunal.
- Drafting and advising on employment documentation including employment contracts and policies and procedures, in relation to both UAE Labour Law as well as the various Free Zones.
- Advising clients in relation to contentious matters including claims brought before the Dubai Court of First Instance
- Providing advice to clients with respect to end of service gratuity entitlements and limitations of bringing such claims at the Labour Court
- Advising on all stages of the employment relationship from recruitment to termination of employment
