Nour Kanawati is an Associate in the Corporate Commercial practice in Dubai.
Nour is a U.S. attorney in the Corporate Commercial team at Al Tamimi. Currently, Nour works in various aspects of corporate commercial advice, mainly focusing on corporate projects. Her work includes carrying out due diligences for companies, advising on public private partnership endeavours, drafting and/or reviewing shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
Nour transitioned to the Corporate Commercial team from the Intellectual Property department, where she spent approximately two years focusing on the prosecution and enforcement of brand owners’ intellectual property rights in the UAE and the surrounding MENA region. Prior to joining Al Tamimi, she worked with many reputable international organizations, including the Documentation Center for Cambodia and the International Organization for Migration, in concert with the American Bar Association and the United Nations.
She graduated with her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law in the U.S., and she is Bar Certified in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and has reciprocal certification in Washington D.C.
