Tariq qualified as a lawyer in Amman, Jordan in 2008. Tariq had studied in both civil and common law systems, as he completed his LLB in Jordan and two Master’s degrees in the UK and in the Netherlands. Prior to joining Al Tamimi in January 2013, he worked as a litigator in Jordan where he dealt with commercial, civil, tax and labour disputes. Since he joined the Firm, Tariq has been involved in numerous ship arrest cases and cargo claims, as well as a number of aviation and insurance disputes. Tariq is a bilingual lawyer, working fluently in both English and Arabic.
