Biography

Omar Sharief joined Al Tamimi in 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor in the DIFC office. He has over 3 years of experience advising on a range of corporate and commercial matters including M&A, corporate advisory, regulatory and licensing issues and structuring transactions. Omar Sharief is now an Associate in the Corporate Structuring team.

  • Advised a major state-owned conglomerate on the drafting of a term sheet with respect to a multi-million dollar purchase of property prior to listing on the UAE stock market.

  • Assisted on a multijurisdictional major due diligence exercise relating to the purchase of 70% of the shares in a Dutch company with a subsidiary in Iraq.
