Mohieeldin joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2016. He is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department. He received his Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University, English Section. Mohieeldin has been working in Dubai since 2004. Throughout his career, he acted as in-house counsel in various companies and as legal consultant in different law firms (i.e. private practice). Before joining Al Tamimi & Company, he was acting as the ME Senior Legal Counsel for one of the Big Four companies having operations in 12 ME countries.
Mohieeldin is a business oriented lawyer with hands-on experience in various areas of practice (including: construction, commercial, Information Technology, Intellectual Property and corporate related matters). Mohieeldin uses his wide knowledge of local laws, commercial and legal acumen and practical experience to the best of his abilities in conducting all commercial and civil litigation cases with the commercial reality and the clients’ interest in mind.
Mohieeldin is a key member of the litigation team where he has been heavily involved in different types of cases before the Dubai Courts including foreclosure Islamic finance cases, construction disputes, contractors’ claims and agency/ distributionship cases.
Mohieeldin is currently handling Construction related contentious matters before the UAE Courts and has been advising clients on local laws issues with regards to arbitration claims/cases and he has been working closely with Al Tamimi and Company’s Construction and Arbitration team on large disputes. He has also been involved in a large number of property disputes before Dubai Courts and advised various clients on Dubai Property Laws. He also has particular experience in relation to enforcement of arbitration awards.
