Faris has over 10 years experience in judicial work advising on criminal, commercial and civil cases as well as labour and sharia law. He represents Omani and international clients through all stages of disputes including drafting of statements of claim and defence, submission and follow up through to enforcement, at all levels of courts in Oman.
He trained as a lawyer at the Public Prosecution Office for 2 months and then worked as a Trainee Lawyer at Tariq Al Busaidi Advocates and Legal Consultants. He completed his legal training with Al Busaidi, Mansoor Jamal & Co and continued to work there as a lawyer until he commenced employment with Al Tamimi & Company in 2014.
Faris advises clients on employment disputes, representing them before the Ministry of Manpower and judicial authorities, as well as drafts employment contracts for various clients and internal regulations of the clients. Faris has been involved in providing ad hoc advices to clients as well under Oman law and the practice at the Ministry of Manpower.
Faris is very familiar with the Omani court process and regularly attends hearings.
