Having qualified in the Omani jurisdiction, Aida is admitted before the Omani courts and has rights of audience before the primary court.
Aida handles intellectual property matters, advising regional and international clients on the protection of their trademarks and patents. Aida also handles oppositions relating to the infringement of trademarks as well as drafting statements of appeals, drafting legal notices, dealing with customs matters, handling trademark litigation and advising on competition and copyright laws in Oman.
She also has vast experience in corporate commercial and restructuring matters across a range of sectors many of which are cross border. Aida possesses experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring. Aida also handles the incorporation of entities such as limited liability companies, joint ventures and closed joint stock companies in Oman. Aida also possesses experience in advising on pharmaceutical and health care matters in Oman.
