Adv. Mohammed Al-Marri in association with Al Tamimi & Company

We were delighted to open the associate Doha office in June 2004.

It is safe to say that the world’s spotlight is now on Qatar: not only will Qatar be hosting the next Asian Games in 2006, and to this end is fast becoming the sporting capital of the Middle East; it has oil and (particularly) gas reserves that will undoubtedly ensure that it continues to be one of the main ‘places to do business’ for many years to come. Additionally, over the last few years, Qatar has passed various new laws aimed at attracting foreign investment into the country – in all sectors.

The office, which currently consists of six lawyers, provides both advisory and litigation legal expertise: banking and finance; business start-ups (including incorporations and joint ventures); construction; commercial (including advising on agency/distribution/franchise agreements and sports-related agreements); corporate; employment; energy; insurance; intellectual property; information technology; litigation; Sharia; shipping; telecommunications and media.

Al Tamimi & Company are delighted to be part of Qatar’s continued development and look forward to growing alongside this booming economy under the inspired leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
