Sadie is an Associate within the Banking & Finance Department in the Al Tamimi & Company Kuwait office.
She has transactional and advisory experience and advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial work involving both contentions and non-contentious matters.
Sadie has worked with a wide range of listed and unlisted clients, both local and international and currently performs commercial advisory work which presently encompasses commercial agreements, distribution agreements, franchise agreements, service and consultancy agreements, regulatory compliance and opinion work. In particular,
Sadie has provided real and practical transactional advice to clients aimed at securing clients’ rights and mitigating risks and she has also been involved in the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial contracts.
Furthermore, Sadie advises clients on a variety of legal issues of a corporate and commercial nature including due diligence, M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, securities law and financial services regulatory advice. She has also worked on potential litigation matters by advising the client on available procedural and substantive arguments and preparing a litigation strategy in conjunction with the litigation team.
Prior to joining Al Tamimi, Sadie focused her practice on Real Estate, Litigation and Contract Law for seven years in the UK.
- Acting as Legal Counsel for various Kuwaiti banks in concluding large security transactions. i.e; CBK, NBK, QNB, Warba Bank, Ahli United Bank.
- Carrying out due diligence exercise for clients such as GE, the largest online shopping company and an international webinar platform.
- Acting as Legal Counsel in advising the Boston Consultancy Group on establishing a Post-Trade Model in Kuwait
- Advising major international corporations on regulatory matters.
