Biography

Jonathan Reardon is a Consultant for Al Tamimi and Company’s Eastern Province office, based in Al Khobar.

Jonathan is a highly experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with over 30 years of experience advising domestic and international companies in the Middle East, China and the UK.

Jonathan has extensive experience of advising on M&A, joint venture, private equity, financing and other major transactional work across a range of sectors. He also advises companies regularly on a range of commercial, contractual and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company, Jonathan was a partner in the Corporate and Commercial Department of Pinsent Masons, working in Doha, Shanghai and London.

Recent Experience

Advising a major Saudi Group on a bid for a BOOT project with Saudi Aramco (represented by White & Case) to construct 6 residential compounds to house Aramco workers at pumping facilities on the East – West Master Gas Pipeline.
Advising Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery on certain contractual arrangements relating to the proposed extension of its oil and gas facilities in Jubail.
Advising Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery on a range of contractual and regulatory matters.
Advising various international companies on bid, procurement and regulatory matters involving Saudi Aramco including the IKTVA Program.
Advising Chevron on various matters relating to its joint ventures in the oil lubricants sector in the KSA.
Advising a Saudi Group on the disposal of a major interest in an environmental business in Jubail to an international consortium of investors including various contracts with Saudi Aramco and its JV entities.
Advising various companies on property and environmental issues involving the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Advising the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu on a major ongoing project.
Advising a major supplier to Saudi Aramco on a major compliance issue including carrying out an investigation and reporting to and dealing with the Saudi Aramco compliance team.
Advising a European Private Equity Fund on the Saudi aspects of a US$1.5 billion global M&A transaction including due diligence, structuring and joint venture work.
Advising the General Authority of Civil Aviation in relation to the corporatisation of King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh.
