Read the full editionHussam has joined the Syrian Bar Association in 1987. He practiced law and pleaded before the Syrian courts in civil, commercial and legal cases until 1998. In 1999, he moved to the United Arab Emirates and worked for more than seven years at the legal affairs section with Sharjah Economic Development Department, where he provided various types of legal advices and administrative work, especially for commercial companies’ transactions, in addition to resolving disputes related to insurance, commercial fraud and trademark counterfeiting in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.
Before joining Al Tamimi & Co on 2016, he worked for nine years as a legal advisor in a leading construction group, where he worked on legal advice, drafting contracts, writing memos, attending arbitral hearings and expertise in civil, commercial, real estate and labor cases in cooperation with several law firms in the UAE.
