Our Information Technology Law practice places emphasis on electronic business and Internet law, as well as software and computer law. Our work includes negotiating and drafting all kinds of technology transfer and Internet agreements, including licensing agreements, development and transfer agreements, Internet advertising agreements, on-line service agreements, terms and conditions of use and privacy policies.
Many of our clients now operate from within Dubai Internet City, a unique Internet free zone that has been specifically developed for knowledge economy enterprises to operate locally, regionally and globally out of Dubai with significant competitive advantages.
We assist clients to draft, negotiate, outsource and enforce IT contracts including tendering and the acquisition of hardware, software and network services and transformation initiatives. We assist clients to extract maximum value from technology-based projects, such as e-business systems. We advise on both risk management and the commercialization of ideas and technology including distribution rights, non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements and international exploitation arrangements.
