1st GCC Logistics Conference
Al Tamimi & Company’s Bahrain Office were proud sponsors of, and panellists at the 1st GCC Logistics Conference “Costs and Challenges” which took place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 March 2016 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manama, Bahrain.
We sponsored the event both to promote the Firm’s regional practice areas as well as the Bahrain office. The conference was under patronage of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Zayed R Al Zayani, and the Ambassador of Germany in Bahrain, Mr Alfred Simms-Protz. The conference demonstrated the increased value of the transport and logistics sector in the Gulf Region and was supported by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, which recently established a comprehensive logistics project. Numerous national and international top level executives of well-known manufacturers, retailers and logistics service providers got together to discuss costs and challenges in six market related panels.
Al Tamimi & Company’s Samer Qudah, Partner and Regional Head of Corporate Structuring, participating in the first panel session on Day One ‘Trends – Realities – Investments – Benefits’; Omar Omar, Partner and UAE Head of Transport & Insurance, also participated in a panel session on Day Two of the conference ‘Best Legal Suit to do Business in the GCC’.
