The International Trademark Association (INTA) inaugural Annual Meeting in Asia was held from 10 to 14 May 2014 in Hong Kong and is the largest and most prestigious trademark law event in the world. It featured five days of international trademark and intellectual property education sessions led by the most acclaimed IP professionals in the world and provided critical insight into protecting marks and advancing brands.
Partner and Regional Head of IP Omar Obeidat attended the meeting with Partner Munir Suboh, Senior Associates Stephen Jiew and Rasha Al Ardah along with Associates Manel Ben Said and Mariam Sabet.
The event was the first ever INTA Annual Meeting held in Asia and was immensely successful with more than 8,500 officially registered attendees from over 140 countries. Attended by the who’s who of the trademark law world, the INTA Annual Meeting was hailed as the most important networking forum for trademark lawyers. Attendees relished innumerable opportunities to network with in-house and outside counsel, trademark professionals, government officials and IP service providers from around the world.
