Samer Qudah, Partner and Regional Head of Corporate Structuring, presented on Doing Business in the Middle East at the inaugural Premium Waters Dubai conference, held on 8 and 9 December at Dubai Marina. The audience, comprising of senior members of food and beverage companies from across the Middle East, U.S. and Europe, heard from Samer on important issues such as determining the appropriate corporate structure for a business in the Middle East, all aspects of planning and the areas they should factor in for determining the optimal corporate structure. He also spoke on the legal landscape including the benefits and challenges posed by the respective jurisdictions, be it the mainland jurisdiction or the economic/free zone jurisdiction.

In line with this Samer also participated in a panel discussion on the legal and regulatory landscape of doing business in the region.
