In our Corporate Commercial department, we operate a number of significant transactional and corporate advisory practices, serving not only some of the world´s largest companies but also numerous middle-market clients, including corporates and high net worth individuals as well as governmental institutions from the UAE, Middle East region and internationally.

We cover transactional and advisory work in respect of commercial arrangements, the formation of new business structures (within the different emirates of the UAE, its free zone territories and Qatar), regulatory and licensing, mergers and acquisitions, private and public equity. We have strong core teams specialising in preparing and advising on agency, distribution, franchising and all other forms of commercial agreement; mergers, acquisitions and disposals; joint ventures and private equity; flotations and security issues; and employee arrangements.

Our support includes advice and assistance in relation to transactions and projects, the coordination of the input of specialist practice groups within our firm (including in relation to real estate, construction, intellectual property, insurance, human resources, tax and regulatory issues) and lawyers in other parts of the Middle East region. We actively project-manage many aspects of commercial and corporate transactions to help drive them to an effective conclusion. Our employment practice focuses on supporting the clients´ strategic objectives in the management and organisation of their workforce.
